Nicolás Guzmán is a Mexican visual artist born in 1983 in the city of Xalapa, Veracruz and graduated in Plastic Arts by the Universidad Veracruzana. His work explores drawing, painting, graphic, sculpture, photography and installation. It uses different material resources, relying on traditional and contemporary techniques, starting from the semantic possibilities of each of the objects, the use of the word, conceptualization and problematization of their work through questions whose answers follow rehearsing It has more than 20 collective exhibitions, both national and
foreign and with 21 individual samples. His work is in different
collections, such as the IAGO collection, Mastercard Collection, Museum of
the Estampa, UAEM, and in different private collections.
